若いエンジニアにて構成されたチームを率い、ハイパワーの中電圧ドライブ(high power medium voltage AC drives)を開発する。
1.マルチレベルインバーター設計及び製品検査(multilevel inverter design and product verification)
2.モータードライブのコントロールとモジュレイション。H-bridgeのカスケードマルチレベルインバーター(cascaded multilevel inverters)についての経験があれば尚可。
Expert Consultant for Multilevel Inverter Design and Product Verification
Medium voltage inverters have become more common equipment to industrial applications due to energy saving potential. Inverter design requires expert know-how on topologies such as H-bridge cascaded and three-level neutral-point-clamped inverters. Several aspects such as the selection of the topology, power semiconductors, switching strategy, thermal management, mechanical design to minimize parasitic inductances, safety, tests, and EMC have a direct impact on the inverter performance. The consultant working in this field shall be exposed to the following areas:
・Assist the team in defining specifications and performance calculation, such as loss analysis, electrical design based on component SOA, system integration, and extensive performance verification
・Assist in testing and characterizing diodes, IGBTs and IGCTs under different temperature conditions and stress levels such as normal, overload, and short circuit condition using the real mechanical design to better understand the impact of parasitic inductances on the switching performance and power semiconductor loss
・Assist the team in developing simulation models to cover the behavior of the entire system comprised of drive, motor, load, and control algorithm. The simulation shall be used to study the electrical and thermal performance of the drive under different conditions of operation, including fault analysis
・The consultant shall be familiar with EMC to provide advice on how to model and minimize the disturbances created by the medium voltage drive in a system context. Models shall include the noise source and high-frequency impedances of grounding, cables, transformer, and motor
・Provide expert advice on testing procedures to validate the design, including components, subassemblies, and system. The consultant shall be familiar with the test items, procedures and standards
・The consultant shall be able to provide guidelines on how to model/extract parasitic inductances in busbars, capacitive coupling, stray inductances of transformers, and other high-frequency elements
・The consultant shall be familiar with safety standards and familiar with UL certification procedures
・The consultant shall be familiar with modulation strategies, including carrier-based and space vector modulation
・The consultant shall provide advice on how to carry on torsional analysis to identify critical resonances to be avoided in the field operation
Experience Required - Multilevel Inverter Design and Product Verification
・10+ years experience in power electronic design and testing
・Knowledgeable on multilevel inverter topologies and design
・Knowledgeable on power semiconductor devices such as diodes, IGBTs, and IGCTs, including their driving requirements, protection requirements, and characterization
・Knowledge of modeling and simulation of motor drive systems
・Knowledgeable on control algorithms, motor models, and inverter modulation
・Experience with product validation, FMEA analysis, and test system architecture
・Expert in high voltage/high current applications, tests procedures, and safety requirements
・Deep knowledge of power distribution - cabling in the power cabinet, grounding, inlet power cabling, outlet power cabling, and EMC causes and solutions
・Working knowledge of cooling architectures - heat sinks and air flow
・Experience with power electronics modeling (Matlab, Simulink, Mathcad, PSIM, Spice, etc)
・Experience with product validation, FMEA analysis, and test system architecture
